Step 1: Bring Your Containers

  • Why: Bringing your own containers helps reduce waste and supports a zero-waste lifestyle.

  • Types: You can bring any clean and dry container – jars, bottles, bags, or tins.

  • Pro Tip: If you forget your containers, we have a selection of reusable containers available for purchase and a free shelf as well!

Step 2: Take Your Containers to Checkout Desk to be Weighed

  • Tare Weight: Staff will weigh your empty containers. This is known as the "tare weight."

Step 3: Tell Staff What You Want to Fill!

  • Product Selection: Browse our wide range of eco-friendly products, including household essentials & personal care items.

  • Scents: Pick a scent for you products or play around and create your own scent using a combination of our essential oils & fragrances!

  • Assistance: No mess, no stress…we will fill your product for you!

Step 4: Explore Our Other Products While You Wait!

  • Shop Around: Check out our other eco-friendly products! We carry locally made bar soap, unpaper towels, tea, coffee, kombucha, homemade snacks, honey & jam, art and so much more!

Step 5: Weigh and Pay

  • Final Weighing: We will weigh your filled containers for you!

  • Price Calculation: The cost is calculated based on the weight of the product (+ scent) minus the tare weight of your container.

  • Payment: Pay for your products. We accept various payment methods for your convenience. (*there is a $1 charge for credit cards)

Step 6: Enjoy and Repeat

  • Usage: Take your refilled products home and enjoy the satisfaction of contributing to a zero-waste lifestyle.

  • Refill: When your products run out, wash and dry your containers and bring them back for a refill. If you were using Just Toledo containers, you can return them for a $3 store credit per container! Don’t worry about washing them!

  3. Consider creating an account with us and subscribing to our emails. The advantages include: discounts, first to hear about classes & events, saved cart history, payment, billing and delivery details & more.

  4. Add products to your cart (select number of ounces and scent or unscented). Bonus! Free delivery on orders over $35

  5. For delivery, please place your order before midnight on Wednesday and your order will be delivered the following Saturday.

  6. Communicate with us via our contact form (located on the bottom of the home page) about your preferred pick-up/ deposit return location (unless otherwise specified, our default spot is your front door).

  7. Wait for your Saturday delivery (unless you have a covered porch or awning, it will come in a re-purposed box with a big plastic bag inside— we’ll use the plastic bag in case of inclement weather).

  8. Hold on to the box your items are delivered in (and the oversized plastic bag) and use it to collect your empty containers. If it looks like it’ll rain the day of your order, use that bag to wrap around your box, so we can keep re-using it.

  9. Use your products within 2-3 months of purchase; they are made with very gentle preservatives and don’t have the same shelf life as most store bought products.

  10. Place your next order.

  11. Leave your used containers in the box and you’ll receive a $3 refund for every container returned. Don’t worry about cleaning them— that’s our job!

  12. Look for your partial refund— it should show up in your account within 2-3 business days.
