Artist Statement: "We are Ruin. It is what humans do. I create to draw attention to and
expose the wastefulness and destruction that is always at the forefront of
the human condition. With wanton disregard for the environment, ecology,
and humanity we consistently destroy. Working in mixed media allows
these ideas to push off of the wall and become more than just a passing
thought. They are part of the conversation that needs to be had and a plea
to take action. Ultimately, I create something to look at while inviting the
viewer to consider how ugly we are."
