Sourdough 101 at Majestic Oak Winery

Learn the basics of sourdough with Just Toledo!

You will learn how to feed and care for your starter along with everything else you need to bake your first loaf of sourdough bread.

You will take home a recipe and freshly fed sourdough starter. We will provide samples of sourdough bread and snacks, but consider arriving hungry because Majestic Oak has some amazing pizza and tasty wines for your enjoyment. 

Please bring a clean jar that can hold at least 20 ounces. It needs to have a wide mouth and a lid.
