Summer Swap: Art & Decor

Do you have some cool art or decor you don't have a use for anymore, but suspect someone else may love  it? Are you looking to mix things up with some new items in your life, but would rather swap than buy new?  If so, this is the event for you!

We want this event to be very organized and manageable, so we are asking participants to register in advance. The $5 ticket fee will serve as a $5 coupon you can redeem at Just Toledo during the event. Futher, because our space is small, we are limiting the number of participants to 15. Each particpant may bring up to 4 items to swap. Each qualifying item will earn you 1 point of swapping value. 

In order to ensure that everyone can leave with something they love, all items you bring to the swap must be gently used, clean and in working condition. Upon entering the event, we will be checking all items to ensure they meet these qualifications. 

Here are some general ideas for items you can bring to swap--

2 dimensional works of art, ceramics, blown glass, brass, picture frames, vases, small rugs, lamps, small clocks, knick knacks, candle sticks, book ends, throw pillows, throw blankets, jewelry boxes, etc. 

Participants may begin arriving at 11 and each will draw a random swap number. Participant 1 will begin the 1st round, participant 15 will begin the 2nd and so on. Swapping will begin around noon and we will swap in 4 rounds. No in is required to participate in all 4 rounds. 

If there are leftover/unwanted items, they may be left behind. We have arranged for them to be donated to Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity Restore.
