Tawashi Sponges
What can we say? We love tawashi sponges! They originate from Japan and are an awesome, zero waste alternative to sponges. They’re made from hemp palm and last….maybe forever. After each use, we rinse ours out and rub our fingers through its bristles, to clean out any leftover bits. For a deeper clean, you can run it through the dishwasher. I throw mine in about once a week. I’ve rotated the same two sponges for the past year and they still look brand new. They’re safe on your everyday dishes, stainless and cast iron. They even come equipped with a little hook, so you can hang them out to dry after use.
